ABOUT CERENA
Cerena Ceaser, PhD is an independent writer, cultural commentator, and interdisciplinary thinker focused on mythology, technology, media, and social transformation. She publishes essays on Medium, exploring the psychological, symbolic, and cultural dimensions of modern life.
Her work has been featured by the New Media Advocacy Project, where she contributes interdisciplinary articles on media, emerging technologies, and societal change. Dr. Ceaser’s editorial and scholarly experience spans California Polytechnic State University, San Francisco State University, and Pacifica Graduate Institute, including contributions to an award-winning student publication.
She has engaged with European intellectual communities through the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies, participating in foresight research and cultural trend analysis that informs her writing on narrative, ethics, and technology.
Her interdisciplinary approach combines mythological studies, depth psychology, and conflict analysis to examine how symbols, archetypes, and stories shape culture and collective imagination. AGENCY
My passion for books as an independent bookseller in San Francisco taught me agency. I continued my love of music and media while working in music licensing. At the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles, we supported the humanist needs of the community and consulted on large artistic projects like the movie
The DaVinci Code.
